This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of pendants (metal, silver/gold, steel, with natural stones, glass, resin, enamel, lockets, and magnetic pendants). Due to small parts, sharp edges of pendants/hangers, weight, and skin contact, please follow the instructions below to avoid injuries and skin reactions.

Basic Safety and Handling Principles

• Keep out of reach of children: Pendants, rings (loops), and magnets may pose a swallowing hazard; the product is not a toy.
• Check before wearing: Inspect the loop/hanger, connecting rings, and set stones; do not use a loose or damaged pendant.
• Sharp and fragile parts: Beware of sharp edges and points; protect glass and fragile stones from impact.
• Magnetic elements: Keep strong magnets away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with pacemakers/ICDs must maintain a safe distance.

Proper and Safe Use

• Chain compatibility: Choose a chain with appropriate strength and thickness for the pendant’s weight; the loop must pass freely through the chain without snagging.
• Risk of catching: Do not wear long or sharp pendants during sports, sleep, machine work, or activities with increased risk of catching on clothing or objects.
• Contact with water and chemicals: Remove the pendant before showering, swimming, and applying cosmetics/perfumes; chemicals may damage the surface and glued stones.
• Temperature and sun exposure: Do not expose to extreme heat or direct sunlight; resin and adhesives may deform or soften.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage

• Cleaning: Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive pastes and aggressive cleaners. Clean pearls and porous stones only dry.
• Maintenance of connections: Regularly check and tighten/close connecting rings if necessary; have loose stones professionally secured.
• Storage: Store separately in a case or pouch to prevent scratching and tangling; protect from moisture.

• Allergies and sensitive skin: Some metals (e.g., nickel), dyes, and adhesives may cause reactions; if redness, itching, or swelling occurs, remove the pendant and consult a doctor if needed.

Disposal

• Safe disposal: Hand over metal parts for metal recycling; sort glass/resin parts and packaging according to local regulations. Wrap small parts to prevent risks to children and animals.
